Mrs Johnson

I teach middle school math at St. Stephen's (6th, 7th & 8th grade).  My first teaching job was with STARBASE Minnesota, STARBASE is a hands-on STEM opportunity for 4th, 5th and 6th grade classes. I was a substitute teacher at St. Stephen's for about 5 years.  After that, I took a full-time position and have been on staff since 2019. I graduated with my Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education (Kindergarten through 8th Grade) from St. Cloud State University with a minor in mathematics and Spanish.  I also hold a Master's Degree in Teaching and Learning with a specialty of Integrating Technology in the Classroom from Walden University. My husband and I live in Dayton with our 2 children that also attend St. Stephen's. We have a cat, chickens and fish. I am passionate about making math accessible for all and providing as many hands-on, exploratory opportunities as possible. I teach a regular math class at each grade level and an accelerated math class at each grade level.
